An adolescent from Hancesti district was sentenced to five years in jail for trying to rape a girl aged 12 from his village, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, last October, the 15-year-old teen took the girl by force to the garden of his grandfather and wanted to rape her there. His plans were thwarted by a passerby.
The boy was banned from leaving the country until the passing of judgment. He recently got five years and will serve the time in a penitentiary for minors. The sentence is not yet definitive.
