The national team “Fed Cup” of Moldova consists of tennis players Anastasia Vdovenco, Daniela Ciobanu, Alexandra Perper and Iulia Helbet. The games of the Europe/Africa Zone Group III of the World Team Championship “Fed Cup by BNP Paribas” will be played in Ulcinj, Montenegro, on April 13-18, IPN reports.
The given group includes 14 more states. The matches will be played on the arena of the sports complex Bellevue in Ulcinj. The group will consist of four subgroups. The winners of the subgroups A and B will compete in playoffs with the teams ranked first in the subgroups C and D, while the two teams that will win the playoffs will go through to the second group.
Moldova will compete in the Europe/Africa Zone Group III for the 11th consecutive year.
