The article forms part of IPN’s information campaign that presents biographical data, information about the incomes and property and professional experience of candidates for mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau.
Tatiana Platon is contending for the post of mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau on behalf of the Political Party “Force of Alternative and Salvation of Moldova” which is led by Alexandru Beschieru.
She was born on June 10, 1977 in Orhei. She has secondary vocational education. She worked as a teacher and now serves as the deputy head of Orhei district.
She contended in the parliamentary elections of 2019, in single-member constituency No 50: western Moldova. She gained 1,328 votes or 2.15% of the ballot. As a candidate for mayor of Orhei, she obtained 16 votes.
Last year, as the deputy head of Orhei district, she gained over 246,000 lei salaries. In her property and interests statements, she also declared 5,200 lei and €2,600 received as presents at family celebrations.
The candidate declared an apartment of 90 square meters purchased in 2009 for €30,850. She also declared an apartment of almost 74 square meters bought in 2014 for over 681,000 lei, two cars made in 2017 and 2019 receptive, which are worth €13,000 and €30,500, and two bank accounts in Italy with €34,000.
Tatiana Platon doesn’t campaign in the public space and on social networking sites. The candidate didn’t respond to IPN’s phone calls and messages to provide additional information about herself and her priorities in the campaign prior to the mayoral election in Chsinau.
As it was decided by draw, Tatiana Platon of the Party “Force of Alternative and Salvation of Moldova” will be the 28th candidate on the ballot slate.
