The national futsal championship involves only four teams now. Tarsus didn’t present itself at two matches and was excluded from the competition, IPN reports.
At the beginning of the season, Tarsus won Moldova’s Super Cup after beating Progress. In the championship, things didn’t go so well and the team scored only three victories in nine games.
The National Division now includes Progress, Olimpia, Atletico, and Socol. Progress holds the lead, having by 10 points more than Olimpia.
One of the best teams of the last few years, Lexmax, refused to take part in the current championship because of the low number of teams in the National Division.
