Tarlev, Misin founding political party

Ex-Premier of Moldova (2001-2008) Vasile Tarlev will found a Party with MP Vadim Misin, who has left the Party of Communists a while ago. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Vasile Tarlev said that the Party will be center-leftist and will be joined by several MPs from the Parliamentary groups. “There is a task force; these are people who are convinced that we must create a new Party, which will reunite those disappointed by the current situation. These are people with a clear position on the development of sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova”, said Vasile Tarlev. The ex-Premier added that this is not going to be a Party of national minorities. The main goal will be the development of sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Moldova. For now the Party has no name, but among the discussed options is the name of “Rebirth Party”. According to Tarlev, the party will be joined by non-Parliamentary politicians, businessmen, professors, doctors, but MPs will be in it as well. “It is not a secret that people from the Parliamentary Parties are disappointed by the activity of the formation they are part of”, said Vasile Tarlev. Vadim Misin left the PCRM in early June, along with MPs Oleg Babenco and Tatiana Botnariuc.
