Moldova’s Taekwon-Do fighters returned with eight medals from the European Taekwon-Do GTF Championships, which were held the city of Hatfield, the UK, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Education and Research said that two gold medals in the senior category were won by Anton Rața (65 kg weight class), in the fighting and technique events.
Cristian Barac and Daniel Grecu won bronze medals in the technique event, and Emanuel Dunas won gold in fighting and became European vice-champion in the special technique event, the breaking competition.
Arsenie Popov (55 kg) also clinched two gold medals. He won the continental title in the fighting and technique events, in the junior category.
