Five persons leaving in Chisinau are suspected of involvement in the bomb attack committed in Isacova village of Orhei district. The suspects were put under arrested for 72 hours and are investigated for making explosives, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the General Police Inspectorate, the police established that the men prepared for placing the bomb beforehand. The device was created by a 23-year-old man from an antitank grenade and a detonator with about 600 grams of triton.
On the night of November 19, the device was put under the car of the director of an agricultural company and was to be blown up with the help of a detonator.
According to experts, if the device had exploded, it would have destroyed everything on an area of about 30 meters. During searches at suspects’ homes, the police found and seized objects that have a direct connection with the committed offense.
The suspects face a fine of 6,000 to 16,000 lei or up to five years’ imprisonment.
