Supporters of the convicted fugitive Ilan Shor, who took MIR cards from “Victory” bloc, learned that they owe debts to Promsvyazbank. The editorial office of Deschide.MD was notified by persons of the fact that they had received text messages from the Russian financial institution, informing them that, starting with November 1, they must repay a previously raised loan, IPN reports.

“I received a message saying that I have debts that must be repaid. This is not normal. They promised us one thing, but we see a completely different thing. I fell into a trap. I didn’t expect something like this,” a woman from a locality in northern Moldova told Deschide.MD.

A similar situation was witnessed in the south. “Yesterday, a message I received informed that I have a loan to repay and penalties will be imposed for each day of delay.  I don’t know what to do. I called representatives of the bloc for several times, but no one answers the phone. I don’t understand why they behave like this? They promised one thing, but we see another thing. I’m shocked. I and the villagers are worried and we don’t know what to do. What will happen next?” said a man from Cahul.

“We don’t know what to do. No one from “Victory” bloc answers the phone, not even at the central office. They ignore us. How can a repay this loan now? I have about 10 acquaintances who are in a similar situation,” said a man from Gagauzia.

Deschide.MD says that Promsvyazbank, which is under international sanctions, is used by the “Shor” group and the so-called “Evrazia” organization, behind which there are Russian special services, to create MIR cards that are massively issued to citizens of the Republic of Moldova in order to corrupt them. People receive monthly sums of money as “help”. In reality, the “Shor” group asks them to participate in various protests and to vote “against” in the referendum on joining the EU, and also to support Shor’s candidates in the presidential election.
