A contest to develop applications for studying math in schools was launched in Chisinau. The competition represents a practical exercise for students by which these develop applications intended to increase the efficiency of teaching math in school and to stimulate the students’ interest in this subject, IPN reports.
Hackthon EduSoft is organized by the Social Innovation Hub MiLab, which is a project of the United Nations Development Program and the e-Government Center.
Hacktahonul is open to students who specialize in programming, design and marketing. It will take place in the period between October 9 and November 7. In the period, the teams will meet on Saturdays to develop the Beta version of the applications. The participants will be able to exchange ideas and to receive recommendations form their mentors.
