Students of the Romanian-British secondary school situated in the municipality of Galati in Romania will take part in educational activities at the summer camp in Cuhureștii de Sus village of the Republic of Moldova. During May 31 – June 1, students and teachers of the school will be involved in educational activities staged in the locality and will visit tourist attractions in the municipality of Soroca, which, according to the organizers, will give a profound insight into the cultural and historical heritage of the region. This is possible thanks to a cooperation agreement between the educational institution of Romania, the Division of Education and the Student Regional Council of Florești, IPN reports.
The activities staged under this agreement will include visits to the fortress, museums, monuments and other cultural-historic sites in Soroca municipality. The summer camp in Cuhureștii de Sus will offer the students the opportunity to become involved in different educational and recreational activities, promoting learning through experience and direct interaction with the environment, said officials of the Romanian-British secondary school.
The students will take part in workshops to strengthen the team –camp bonfire “Fire of the Brotherhood”, May evening disco, workshops and strategic planning.
The agreement of cooperation reflects the two institutions’ commitment to promote excellence in education and to facilitate the access to valuable cultural resources. The Romanian-British secondary school in Galati and the General Division of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport aim to develop a diversified and inclusive environment, which meets the needs and aspirations of all the students, said the educational institution of Galati.
