The students which take their graduaion examinations will de informed about their results at the end of the session, not after each examination, as previously, declared at the operative meeting of Chisinau Mayoralty the head of the Municipal Department for Education, Youth and Sport, Alexandru Roman. The deputy head of the Department, Zinaida Popescu, declared for Info-Prim Neo that according to an oral decision of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the examining commissions from the two Baccalaureate examination National Centers established at the “Mihai Kogalniceanu” lyceum and “Stefan cel Mare” Lyceum have 10 days to mark the examination-papers. The examinations will start only in the afternoon of the third day, due to procedure reasons, in this way the results of the first examination that took place on June 2 will be known only on June 13, and the results of the foreign language oral test, which took place on June 6 will be ready on June 17-18, when the students will be taking already the fourth exam. Zinaida Popescu says that the results of the optional tests will be known within 10 days, but not immediately after the examination. In this way after the end of all examinations the children will be waiting for several days for the results. Solicited by Info-Prim Neo, the psychologist of the General Department for Children’s Protection, Rodica Moraru, states that this practice of announcing the results of the tests much latar after the end of the examinations is not favorable. It can affect the mental and physical condition of the children. The quoted source affirms that the graduates are in this way kept in a mood of anxiety, uncertainty, which can influence their health. Among the risks of a nervous crisis, there are premises for the appearance of arterial hypertension, headaches and stomach complaints. “Normally, a child must go relaxed to the next test and must not always think about the marks of the previous tests”, added Rodica Moraru. The same opinion is shared by the psychotherapist of the Clinical Psychiatric Hospital, Tatiana Leasoc. According to her, the session itself is a stress, but the fact they can not get rid of a part of information, unknowing the result of the previous test, make children supplementary stressed. The psycho therapist states that the accumulated negative emotions can generate a neurosis with unpredictable consequences. “The age of the children is difficult, they have a vulnerable nervous system and are irascible, and in this way the negative energy could provoke unwished consequences”, says Tatiana Leasoc. On the other hand, several students declared that they support this experiment, because the students will not have to explain their parents anything about their marks, avoiding stressing talks, and in this way will prepare better for the next test. The Baccalaureate examinations started on June 2 and will continue till June 26. On the whole, 5.2 thousand lyceum students, 4.8 thousand general-school students and 10.8 gymnasium graduates take the exam this year.
