Students of educational institutions in the Transnistrian region will study online in case of an interruption in natural gas supplies. Additional educational activity will be organized only at the request of students' parents, based on the recommendations of the relevant state services – sports and culture. Only children whose parents go to work will attend kindergarten, IPN reports.
At an extended meeting of the Security Council, the so-called head of the Transnistrian government, Alexander Rosenberg, said that if natural gas is no longer delivered to the Transnistrian region, the Moldovan Thermoelectric Power Plant of the Transnistrian Region (MGRES) is ready to switch over to coal.
Manufacturing companies will be advised to work based on the night shift, and transport services are urged to help convey the employees of these companies to their workplaces. The activity of the administration in Tiraspol will also be optimized in order to minimize the use of energy resources.
On Monday, December 23, the medical institutions on the left bank of the Nistru will stop performing routine medical examinations. A number of 54 ambulances will go to emergency calls and will ensure the transport of patients from one medical center to another, which is provided with thermal energy.
Citizens of the Transnistrian region are allowed to collect fallen wood by hand without a permit. However, if there is an intention to use vehicles, the permission of the local administration is required. Cutting down trees and the so-called export of timber outside the region are banned.
