strolling selling of martisor in the centre of the capital is allowed starting on 27 February till 8 March, only in 4 places set by the public authorities of the capital. The allowed places are the pavement of the street Puskin on behalf of Public Park, the plateau in front of the market Unic, central Market and Organic hall. The decision on setting the –places for selling the small symbols of the spring was taken after a controversial discussion within the operative meeting of the mayoralty. The note was done by the head of the Central office, Edward Iaroszewski, who showed very disturbed by the apparition on the streets of the strolling vendors with martisoare. He noted that after a long fight with street vendors and won very difficult by the authorities, the situation gets out of control again and very soon the previous chaos will prevail on the centre of the capital. In the same time, the interim mayor, Vasile Ursu, doubted the need to adopt such behaviour towards people who made then for half a year, spring’s symbols. He said that street vendors of martisoare could be allowed, for the last time, to sell martisoare in the street. At his turn, the head of municipal police, Petru Corduneanu, asked clarity in the adopted decision that the policemen know from where they have the right to drive away the vendors. Selling in the street of martisoare, Corduneanu considered, is a part of unauthorised selling. As a result of debates, the local authorities set, only for this year and until 8 march, 4 places of selling martisoare - pavement on the street Puskin on behalf of the Public Garden, the plateau in front of the market Unic, Central Market and square of Organic Hall.
