Stoianoglo after counting of 90% of minutes: Democracy means maturity in the face of result

After 90% of the minutes were processed, the PSRM candidate Alexandr Stoianoglo addressed the citizens and urged them to remain calm, regardless of the figures displayed, IPN reports.

"I call on every citizen to look beyond narrow interests, and the media and NGOs affiliated to the government to rediscover their vocation to objectively inform society, giving up the manipulation, hysterization and artificial division of society," said Alexandr Stoianoglo.

At the same time, the PSRM candidate said that "Moldova needs peace, not artificial tensions" and thanked the citizens who voted for him.

After the centralization of 90% of the minutes, Alexandr Stoianoglo leads with 50.81% of the vote. Maia Sandu has 49.19%. The difference is of over 21,000 votes in favor of the PSRM candidate.
