The political bloc “Together” demands that the head of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office Veronica Dragalin and the interim prosecutor general Ion Munteanu should resign after representatives of the Shor group had participated in Moscow in the creation of the “Victory” bloc. The Party of Change’s chairman Ștefan Gligor said the actions of the Shor group represent an offense for the entire society and denote the defective activity of law enforcement agencies. For his part, Watchdog expert Valeriu Pașa described the creation of the “Victory” bloc as an operation of the Russian intelligence services, IPN reports.

Ștefan Gligor, who is the co-chairman of the” Together” bloc, accuses the chiefs of the law enforcement agencies of inaction, given that MP Marina Tauber, although she is involved in a series of criminal cases, has the right to leave Moldova.

“Marina Tauber, despite having had her immunity lifted for so many times, participated in the theft of the billion 10 years ago and repeatedly violates the law on party financing, is free and wasn’t banned from leaving the country. This is the grade given to prosecutors and judges in the Republic of Moldova. Grade 1. Tauber shouldn’t have had at least a foreign passport and shouldn’t have been able to leave Moldova. This means grade 1 for Dragalin and Munteanu, and the “Together” bloc is waiting for their resignation and we will ask for it whenever we have the opportunity. These people have no place in office,” Ștefan Gligor stated in the talk show “Secrets of the Power” on JurnalTV channel.

In the same connection, the head of Watchdog Community Valeriu Pașa said that the law must be applied including in relation to people who are used as “mules” to introduce money into the Republic of Moldova. This will make more responsible the potential victims used by the Shor group to destabilize the Republic of Moldova.

“It is an operation of the Russian intelligence services, and the old men who transmit by US$ 1,000, without understanding what they are doing, participate in this high treason. As long as no one is punished so that the whole country can see what happens if you do this, such things will continue. Justice acts not to put everyone in jail, but to make the people obey the law. The chances of this group to take power are quite small, not because the state institutions do their job, but because the Moldovans think critically and do not allow to be manipulated. There are some who fall prey, but considering how many hundreds of millions of dollars Russia invests to overturn the election results, we are still doing quite well,” stated Valeriu Pașa.

On April 23, law enforcement officials announced the initiation of a criminal case on the smuggling of over 20,000,000 lei brought to the country by passengers who came from Moscow by flights from Yerevan and Istanbul. According to them, the passengers, most of them middle-aged people from southern Moldova, were used as “mules” so that the authorities would not know about the origin and purpose of this money.
