Incomes totaling 16.869,4 billion lei were collected in the state social insurance budget in the first six months of 2022. This is 51% of the annual plan set at 33.042,3 billion lei. The total incomes were by 837.6 million lei higher than the total costs of the state social insurance budget, IPN reports, with reference to the National House of Social Insurance.
The mandatory state social insurance contributions came to 8.827,0 billion lei or 47.7% of the annual sum projected at 18.490,0 billion lei. The sum is by 1.081,8 billion lei or 14% higher than in the corresponding period of 2021. Other incomes added up to 199.2 million lei.
The transfers from the state budget totaled 7.843,1 billion lei, in accordance with the financing requests. Out of these, 4.903,1 billion went to pay social benefits, while 2.940,0 billion lei was designed to cover the deficit of own state social insurance budget incomes.
The spending in the period came to 16.031,7 billion lei or 48.5% of the annual sum set at 33.042,3 billion lei. This is by 2.383,7 billion lei or 17.5% more than last year.
On July 1, 2022, the balance in the accounts of the National House of Social Insurance was 837.7 million lei.
