The state of public health emergency was extended until July 31, as the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission decided on July 10, IPN reports. Prime Minister Ion Chicu said the epidemiological situation is critical worldwide, in the region and in Europe and Moldova cannot relax most of the restrictions.

Only the gyms, swimming polls and fitness halls reopen on July 16 and the restriction as regards changing and shower cubicles there is lifted. The rehabilitation and spa centers resume work in stages, in strict compliance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health.

The entry restrictions on foreigners remain in force, with some exceptions. The obligation to self-isolate when entering the country is maintained. The nightclubs and discothèques, recreation places and amusement parks cannot yet reopen.

It is banned holding wedding, birthday and christening ceremonies until August 1. The summer camps and kindergartens also remain closed until the end of July.
