State National Association for Soil Protection to be reorganized

The State National Association for Soil Protection will be transformed into the State Soil Protection and Improvement Company by merger with the state-run soil protection companies from Soroca, Rascani, Floresti, Telenesti, Nisporeni, Orhei, Cimislia, Leova, and Comrat, and the enterprise Fertilitatea-ALMO, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre will act as the new company’s founder. According to the Agency’s director general Vasile Grama, the reorganization will allow more efficiently managing the money allocated for protecting and putting the lands to good use, and swiftly solving the problems faced in the field. The new company will supply the over 100 anti-erosion facilities working in Moldova with equipment. Lubricants and spare parts will be bought for this company and its branches – the companies with which it merged – at more advantageous prices.
