The candidate for Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița benefits from state guard. The State Guard and Protection Service said that it ordered to ensure her protection as from January 27, when the presidential decree nominating her was signed, IPN reports.
The candidate has her home and car guarded. “In accordance with the legislation, the Service earlier protected and guarded all the candidates designated by presidential decree as Prime Minister and the candidates who won the presidential elections,” the institution said in a press release.
Natalia Gavrilița was nominated candidate for premiership by President Maia Sandu. She is to go to Parliament to ask for the MPs’ vote of confidence on February 8.
