Unemployed people willing to start a business will get a subsidy of 80% of the total startup cost, provided that the amount does not exceed 20 national average salaries for the previous year, under a Government resolution adopted Wednesday.

This is a significant increase from the current 50% and 10 average salaries.

The same conditions apply for those willing to start a business in a rural area.

Meanwhile, the Government reduced the term of subsidized employment for employers accommodating disabled people from 18 to 12 months.

Also, the Government increased the allowance for unemployed people undergoing training or internship from 15% to 35% of the national average salary for the previous year.
