The Parliament will convene for the spring session starting on February 3. The head of the legislature, Igor Grosu, signed a decree to this effect, IPN reports.
According to the document, deputies will meet in a plenary session at the proposal of the Parliament's Permanent Bureau, after preparing the agenda.
The 2024 fall session of Parliament ended on December 26, and between January 29-30, the deputies convened in an extraordinary session at the request of Igor Grosu.
The legislature meets twice a year in regular sessions. The spring session begins in February and cannot extend beyond the end of July, while the fall session begins in September and cannot extend beyond the end of December.
