Members of Specialized Athletics Sports School No. 3 celebrated 55 years of the foundation of the institution. On this occasion, the coaches and athletes of the institution were awarded.
The best athletes of the school are: Alexandra Emilianov, who won gold in discus throw at the World and European Under 20 Athletics Championships, and Andrian Mardare, who was the finalist in javelin throw at the European Seniors Championships.
“I’m proud to represent Athletics School No.3. I hope to achieve even better results,” Andrian Mardare stated for IPN.
Specialized Athletics Sports School No. 3 was founded in 1963 and Gheorghe Kuharski, who now serves as trainer at the school, was named director. Since 2008, the school has been headed by Iacob Merchuk.
