A special vehicle of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service is pumping the water that flooded the road connecting six villages of Straseni district, IPN reports.
The district’s head Petru Voloshchuk said that more than 1,500 cubic meters of water from the Byk River flooded the road and a number of houses and farmlands in the district.
On July 3, the intervention teams pumped about 300 cubic meters of water. The danger of new floods persists as the improvised levee may yield.
