The three MPs of the group of Socialists voted against the ruling alliance’s presidential candidate Marian Lupu. Igor Dodon, Zinaida Greceanyi and Veronica Abramchuk showed their ballots when going out of the polling booth. Unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea did not show his ballot, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Alliance for European Integration has 58 lawmakers. The head of state is elected by 61 votes. The Communist MPs did not take part in the voting. The voting procedure is over. The special commission for the organization of the presidential elections will make public the results in about half an hour. Most probably, new elections will be held within 30 days.
