MPs, members and activists of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Friday planted trees in “Valea Trandafirilor” Park in Chisinau on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism in World War II. The event was named symbolically “Victory wood”, IPN reports.
The chairman of the PSRM Igor Dodon said that during the next few days trees will be planted in several districts of the country.
The politician reiterated that the PSRM disapproves of the initiative to ban using the Ribbon of Saint Gheorghe. That’s why, starting with next week until May 9, the MPs of the party will go to the sittings of Parliament wearing the black and orange ribbon at chest, in protest.
