Sniffer dog Amy, alongside border police officers, detected 400 grams of a vegetal mass looking like marijuana. The persons involved in the sale of the substance had been monitored for several months and the searches were coordinated with employees of the Soroca Prosecutor’s Office, IPN reports.
According to the Border Police, a group of persons was suspected of keeping and selling narcotic substances. Searches were carried out at two addresses in Cerlina village of Soroca district. The vegetal mass looking like marijuana was hidden in a beehive in one of the households.
The substance was seized and is to be examined. The suspects will serve up to ten years in jail if their guilt is proven.
