The snap parliamentary elections are the most probable post-electoral development in the Republic of Moldova. In such a situation, by its behavior the political bloc ACUM shows it gets ready for snap elections, not for forming a coalition. Such opinions were stated in the talk show “Key issue” on NTV Moldova channel, IPN reports.

Expert in political sciences Boris Shapovalov said snap elections will most probably take place. The Party of Socialists has a clear-cut electoral program aimed at developing the country and the Socialists are ready to cooperate with the bloc ACUM for the country’s benefit. “But who should they cooperate with when ACUM has ideological fantasies that have nothing to do with the current realities, not mentioning the history?” asked the expert.

He noted the MPs of ACUM do not want to assume responsibility as they would like to sit calmly in Parliament during the next four years and to criticize the Democratic Party and the Party of Socialists. Furthermore, the bloc aims to push the Socialists towards an alliance with the Democrats.

According to journalist Valery Demidetskii, the behavior shown by the MPs of ACUM on May 9 revealed that these focus on their voters and prepare for snap elections. “It’s no use expecting constructivism for forming a coalition from them. It’s clear that they get ready for snap electrons,” he noted.
