Alexandr Slusari, former MP and ex-director of the "Farmers' Force" Association, suggests to Dumitru Alaiba to resign from the position of Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization. In a post on his Facebook page, Alexandr Slusari asks Alaiba where the regulations on the compensation of economic agents are, IPN reports.

Slusari says that the draft regulations should have been ready last autumn, but are not in place even today, on January 23, 2025.

"Moldova now needs crisis managers, not characters preoccupied with their own PR on taxpayers' money!", wrote the former MP and Deputy Speaker of Parliament, who is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Energocom.

Asked to comment on this subject, the Government’s spokesman, Daniel Vodă said that the regulations on the compensation of economic agents are close to being finalized, in accordance with the Commission for Emergency Situations’ ordinances of January 16. The platform for submitting applications will become functional on January 27.

"We respectfully ask for patience for this complex process to be completed as it involves multiple technical and logistical details, but our entrepreneurs will be supported," added Daniel Vodă.

The regulations specify that, in order to benefit from compensation, eligible companies will submit an application through the government portal MCabinet/EVO. Submissions can be made within 10 days of the date of issuance of the electricity bill.

So far, Dumitru Alaiba has not commented on Alexandr Slusari's request. The minister is participating in the Davos World Economic Forum entitled "Collaboration in the Intelligent Age”.
