Striker Eugen Sidorenko will play for Veris Chisinau that is trained by Igor Dobrovolski. He is no longer wanted at Tom Tomsk and can be ‘browed’ by the finalist of Moldova’s Cup for the next five months, IPN reports.
Veris now includes another nine footballers who played for the national team over the last few years. These are: Alexandru Antoniuc, Viorel Frunza, Petru Racu, Serghei Alexeev, Maxim Antoniuc, Artiom Gaiduchevici, Andrian Cascaval, Valeriu Andronic, and Nicolae Josan. The last two do not have a contract with Veris. Ion Ursu and Valeriu Tiron, of Veris, were summoned by Alexandru Curteian to the national Under 21 team for the CIS Cup.
In order to vacate places for the new players, Igor Dobrovolski has parted company with Juric, Hovanschi, Picus, Popusoi and Muntean brothers this winter.
Veris ranks third in the National Division after 19 stages played and struggles for qualification in the UEFA Europa League.
