The Shor Party filed to the Central Election Commission the documents needed for registration as a contender in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11. The party’s vice president Marina Tauber said they submitted the documents on the first day so as to have more time for discussions with the citizens and for overcoming the political, economic and social crisis experienced by Moldova.

Marina Tauber avoided saying the persons included in the party’s electoral list, noting the party’s leader Ilan Shor will speak about the candidates and the election campaign in a live program at 6pm. She only said that their team consists of professionals and decent people who already did many good things for Moldova.

The MP stated she expects the electoral race will be transparent and fair so that the most powerful, not those who have more administrative tools win. She expressed her conviction that the Shor Party will have a majority of seats of MP. “We hope that in the upcoming campaign we will not witness arrests and pressure and we will be able to show which of us is better. We hope no influence will be exerted from outside as only we, the Moldovans, know how our Moldova should look like,” said Marina Tauber.

May 14 is the first day the candidates for MP can file the required documents to the CEC.
