Petrocub beat Sheriff 1-0 in the derby match of the seventh stage of the National Division. The only goal of the encounter was scored by Dan Taras in the 71st minute, IPN reports.
Owing to this victory, Petrocub climbed to the fifth spot in the rankings. “Today we saw a team that knows what it struggles for. I hope we will keep the pace,” Petrocub coach Lilian Popescu told a news conference.
