Sheriff Tiraspol continues to sign new players. The team trained by Lilian Popescu this week has been joined by Serbian fullback Vujadin Savic and halfback from Sierra Leone Khalifa Jabbie, IPN reports.

Savic, 25, was transferred from Bordeaux for which he played 10 games during three seasons in the championship of France. He scored one goal in a match against Lille. The previous season, he was borrowed from Watford, but didn’t manage to make his debut in the second league of the championship of England. In his career, Savic also played for Rad Beograd, Crvena Zvezda and Dynamo Dresden and for the national Under 21 team of Serbia.

Khalifa Jabbie is a player of the national team of Sierra Leone for which he scored a goal in the qualifying rounds of the Africa Cup of Nations last year. He played in the championships of Norway and Turkey, for Fredrikstad and Balıkesirspor respectively.

Sheriff has the highest score after the two National Division stages played this season. On August 9, the team from Tiraspol meets the newly promoted Speranta Nisporeni away.
