Sheriff made the first transfer this winter. Moldova’s champion signed Danish striker Patrick Pedersen of Valur Reykjavik, IPN reports.
Pedersen was the top scorer of the last season of Iceland’s championship with 17 goals scored in 21 matches. The striker for two rimes won the national title with Valur, in 2017 and 2018. Pedersen also won the Cup of Iceland in 2015 and the Super Cup of Iceland in 2018. In the qualifying competition of the UEFA Europa League, he played against Sheriff.
The 27-year-old striker will join Sheriff next month, when the team from Tiraspol starts the preparations for the new season.
