Sheriff Tiraspol had the third consecutive draw in the UEFA Europa League groups. The team trained by Roberto Bordin drew 1-1 at home with Lokomotiv Moscow, IPN reports.
The guests scored the first in the 17th minute through Anton Miranciuk, while Ziguy Badibanga tied in the 31st minute. Sheriff was close to scoring a victory, but goalkeeper Guilherme prevented two goals.
“We had a good play. We could have won today. I’m glad that we managed to recover after the 0-1,” Sheriff coach Roberto Bordin told a news conference.
The other match of Group F, between Zlin and FC Copenhagen, ended by 1-1 as well. After three stages, Lokomotiv remains a leader with five points. FC Copenhagen and Sheriff scored by three points and share the second and third places. On November 2, Sheriff and Lokomotiv meet in Moscow.
