Sheriff has chances of becoming again the football champion of Moldova. The team from Tiraspol beat Milsami in Orhei 2-0 and is now seven points ahead of this, IPN reports.
The goals were scored by Jo Santos in the 29th minute and Kapic in the 90th+2 minute.
“We had enough occasions for scoring. Our play wasn’t bad, but we regrettably lost,” Milsami coach Veaceslav Rusnac told a news conference.
Sheriff is to meet Qarabag in the playoffs of the UEFA Europa League in Tiraspol on August 23, starting at 8pm.
