Sheriff distanced itself 10 points from Milsami after defeating it 2-1 in Orhei in the eleventh stage of the National Football Division, IPN reports.

Benjamin Balima gave passes for the two goals scored by Yuri Kendysh and Maxim Cojocaru. Ion Ibrian set the final scoreline in the 76th minute.  “We scored two goals, but then had moments of panic. It’s good that we scored three points, but we should not make such mistakes,” Sheriff coach Zoran Zekic told a news conference. “The second goal was scored from offside, unlike the first one. The referees belittled us,” stated the coach of Milsami Veaceslav Rusnac.

Those from Petrocub were also dissatisfied with the refereeing. The team trained by Lilian Popescu asked for a penalty in the match against Sfântul Gheorghe when Gulceac went in. It happened after Cameroonian player Melachio was sent off and there were only ten footballers on the pitch. Sfântul Gheorghe gave a blow towards the end, when Alexandru Suvorov impeccably transformed a free kick.

The other two matches of the 11th stage ended as follows: Codru - Speranța 1-3 and Dinamo-Auto - Zimbru 0-0. In the rankings, Sheriff is five points ahead of Sfântul Gheorghe and eight points ahead of Speranța.
