Sheriff Tiraspol has minimal chances of entering the second preliminary round of Europa League. The team trained by Lilian Popescu was beaten at home by the Norwegians team Odd 0-3, IPN reports.

“It’s hard to comment on such a result. Time is needed to create a strong team. If the administration has patience, we will see,” Sheriff coach Lilian Popescu said in a news conference.
Elsewhere, Saxan lost at home to Apollon of Cyrus 0-2. The match played in Chisinau represented the debut made by the team from Ceadir Lunga in the European Cups.
“We also had good occasions. We lost the game owing to individual mistakes,” said the coach of Saxan Vlad Goian.
The return games of the first qualifying round of Europa League will take place next week.
