An incredible result was reached in the 28th stage of Division A. Division leader Sheriff-2 demolished fifth ranked Sparta 15-0, IPN reports.
“We didn’t have five main players. Lazar and Iordache were suspended, Iepure and Proca were sidelined by injury, while a central fullback wasn’t allowed to enter Transnistria because he didn’t have the passport on him,” Sparta manager Ion Kvasnitski told a news conference.
As a result of this victory, Sheriff-2 secured the title of champion in Division A. The team from Tiraspol cannot be yet promoted to the National Division.
