Seventh candidate for MP in Hâncești constituency registered

The seventh candidate for MP in single-member constituency No. 38 Hâncești Anatolie Postolachi, who represents the Liberal Democratic Party, was registered as a contestant by the Electoral Council of the Hâncești Electoral District on February 11.

Contacted by IPN for details, Zinaida Dubchak, chairwoman of the Electoral Council of the Hâncești Electoral District, said the deadline for presenting the candidate support signature lists expires on February 13. Seven of the eight candidates who asked for these lists were already registered.

The applicant of the National Unity Party Vlad Țurcanu took the lists, but then announced his withdrawal from the race in favor of independent candidate Grigore Cobzac. He is thus expected to return the lists.

The candidates for MP in single-member constituency No. 38 Hâncești are: Ion Mereuță, of the Democratic Party; Ștefan Gațcan, of the Party of Socialists; Olesea Stamate, of the Action and Solidarity Party; Dorin Chirtoacă, of the UNION Electoral Bloc; Vitalie Balinski, of the Shor Party, independent Grigore Cobzac, and Anatolie Postolaki, of the Liberal Democratic Party.

The campaign prior to the new parliamentary elections that will be held in constituency No. 38 Hâncești on March 15 starts on February 14.
