The probability of forming a Government with the participation of the PDM, PLDM, PL and the Leanca group is very high, director of the Resource Center for Human Rights (CreDO) Sergiu Ostaf said in the program “Pahomi” on Realitatea TV channel, IPN reports.
“I think the PLDM will take part in the formation of the new Government. The negotiations are delayed because each party wants to maximize its contribution so as to promote their interests in the future executive,” stated Ostaf.
According to him, none of the leaders of the four parties wants early elections. “Polls show that Renato Usatyi will win most of the votes, while the future government will be a pro-Russian government of the left. It’s not excluded that the PPEM will win about 15 seats, but will anyway have to shift to the opposition. I think Iurie Leanca realizes that it is better to have three seats and take part in governance and do something than to have 15 seats in the opposition,” said Ostaf.
Sergiu Ostaf considers that the future Premier will be political, not technocratic, as the PLDM demands. “It’s not excluded that the PDM will be entrusted with the task of nominating the candidate for premiership. A technocratic Premier will have heartache when he sees what is going on in the energy system, justice, social sphere and other sectors,” he stated.
