Athlete Serghei Marghiev ranked 10th in the hammer throwing contest at the Olympic Games in Rio. He managed a result of 74.14 meters, IPN reports.
The champion became Dilshod Nazarov from Tajikistan with 78.68 meters. Serghei Marghiev also competed 4 years ago in the London Olympics, but did not reach the final.
His sister had the 5th best result in women’s hammer throwing, with a distance of 73.50 meters. The other sister, Marina Marghieva-Nikishenko, did not qualify to the finals.
