September 19 is the deadline for submitting documents for the registration of candidates for the position of mayor or local councillor, announced the Central Electoral Commission. Also, September 19 is the last day when candidates can be nominated for MP in the four uninominal constituencies (no. 17, 33, 48 and 50), where snap parliamentary elections will take place, IPN reports.
A CEC press release states that on this day the activity of the initiative groups that support candidates for MP office ends and the term for collecting signatures expires.
In maximum seven days, the electoral constituency council shall examine the submitted documents and adopt a decision regarding the registration or refusal to register the candidates in the elections.
