Searches have been carried out this morning at the home of former MP of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Alla Dolință. The information was confirmed for IPN by the spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office Mariana Cherpec.
In mid-July, the MP of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists Alla Dolință announced that she decided to give up the seat of MP and leave the BCS parliamentary group and to also withdraw from the PSRM as she did not agree with the method, concept and rhetoric of the party and its administration over the war in Ukraine.
Immediately afterward, Vlad Batrîncea, secretary of the PSRM’s Political Executive Committee, said that pressure was exerted on the MP and they suspect that this statement wasn’t actually written by her. For his part, MP of the Party of Action and Solidarity Dumitru Alaiba said that Alla Dolință’s decision deserved respect.
Alla Dolință took up as an MP in December 2014.
