A 65-year-old man died after he was slapped by a minor. According to the police, the incident took place on the evening of September 9 at a secondary school in Cahul, where the man worked as a guard.
Contacted by IPN for details, the head of the Communication and Protocol Division of the General Police Inspectorate Diana Fetco said that the man, while at work, noticed a 17-year-old minor with a motorcycle on the institution’s mini-football field.
He reproved the young man and punched him in the face and the latter slapped him back. The 65-year-old man fell to the ground unconscious. When the ambulance arrived, he was no longer alive.
A criminal case was initiated on this case. Investigations are still being carried out to establish all the circumstances of this incident.
