Three school buses, 80 computers, and 5 interactive whiteboards with stands and charging stations have been provided to educational institutions in the Taraclia district, with the support of the Government of Bulgaria. The total investment exceeds 300 thousand euros, IPN reports.
According to the Minister of Education and Research (MEC), the three buses, worth a total of 219,000 euros, will transport 272 students from the villages of Novoselovca, Balabanu, Cairaclia, Aluatu, Albota de Sus, and Carbolia to the Gymnasium in Budai and the “Ivan Vazov” Theoretical High School in the city of Taraclia.
The batch of computers and interactive whiteboards is worth over 90 thousand euros. Additionally, the methodical cabinet for the Bulgarian language, literature, and history was equipped with 9 computers, a laptop, 3 laminators, a brochure binder, and 9 multifunctional printers, worth over 10 thousand euros.
"Equitable access to quality education is a priority for us. Through these investments, we are providing students in Taraclia with better learning opportunities, ensuring safe transport and modern digital equipment", said the Minister of Education, Dan Perciun, who was visiting Taraclia.
The investments were attracted as a result of the collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Research and the Government of Bulgaria.
