The Sheriff Complex in Tiraspol hosted a new edition of the national winter swimming championships at the weekend, IPN reports.
Youth Olympic champion Tatiana Salcutan has won every backstroke event in the program. Other outstanding performers included the double Olympic Games participant, Tatiana Chisca, who took the 50m and 100m breaststroke gold, and Alina Bulmag, who set a new national 200m record of 2:33.42.
In men’s competitions, the best results were shown by Constantin Malachi and Nichita Bortnicov.
