Russian wine experts expected in Chisinau

A Russian group of experts is to visit Moldova this week to carry out an examination of the Moldovan wine-making enterprises willing to export their production to the Russian Federation.
Sources within the agro industrial agency “Moldova-Vin” confirmed the visit, mentioning that the Agency’s representatives are preparing now the list of companies to be recommended to the Russian experts.
The sanitary authority of the Russian Federation “Rospotrebnodzor” has recently stated that they will examine the requests of all Moldovan producers wishing to penetrate the Russian market.
Russia’s chief sanitary doctor, Ghenadii Oniscenko, said that, besides the 5 companies: "DK-Intertrade", "Vismos", "Calaraşi Divin", "Kvint", and "Buket Moldavii", that have already the go to export to Russia, five more companies from Moldova would be able to appraise their production in the Russian Federation, and if their quality is proved, they would be able to resume their delivery. These companies are "Asconi" SRL, "Basvinex" SRL, "Vinaria Purcari" SRL, "Migdal-P" SRL and "Romanesti" SRL.
The exporting companies’ list could be completed with three more companies - "Vinaria Bostavan" SRL, "Lion-Gri" SRL and "Salcuta" SRL, whose documents are currently examined by Rospotrebnodzor.
As regards the situation of the rest of the Moldovan producers, Rospotrebnodzor will make a decision after the group of experts visits Moldova.
