Russian gas price for Moldova will be unchanged next 3 months

Moldova has signed a new natural gas delivery agreement with the Gazprom administration. Moldova will pay the same price the next 3 months - 110 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres. According to the press service of the Russian company Gazprom, the Moldovan side tabled new proposals seeking the enlargement of energy cooperation at a Thursday meeting with Alexei Miller, head of the state-owned concern board of directors. The sides agreed that a joint action plan be implemented the next trimester and to keep the same conditions for gas deliveries as in effect in the first three months. Gazprom fell short of revealing the proposals of the Moldovan delegation, which is headed by first Deputy Premier Zinaida Grecianii. Moldova pays 110 dollars per 1,000 cubic metres of Russian gas starting January 16.
