The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on Tuesday will summon the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov in connection with the opening of polling stations for the Russian presidential election, IPN reports.
The Russian diplomat will be informed about the disapproving position on the decision to establish polling stations of the Russian Federation in the Transnistrian region, the MFA noted.
In accordance with the decision taken by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Moldova, on Sunday, March 17, electors in the Transnistrian region will be able to vote in the Russian presidential election. Polling stations will be available in Tiraspol, Bender, Rybnitsa and Grigoriopol, according to regional media.
