People Power Party chairman Ruslan Codreanu, former acting mayor of the capital city, will compete in the mayoral election in the municipality of Chisinau of this November. The announcement was posted on his Facebook page, IPN reports.
“I propose building a developed, clean, educated, healthy city in which all the people choose to live and in which our children will grow healthily and in a balanced way, in which entrepreneurs will start and develop businesses, in which the older persons will want to grow older nicely, while the young graduates will have a job and will wish to stay here out of a city suffocated by traffic, a polluted, robbed, impoverished city with bankrupt enterprises and a sick city,” wrote Ruslan Codreanu.
Ruslan Codreanu worked at the Ministry of Education and the State Chancellery and served as an MP and municipal councilor, deputy mayor and acting mayor.
Six parties have presented their candidates for mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau so far.
